Product Description
The Apple Mac Pro 2019 is Apple's most uncompromising workstation – engineered for professionals who need raw compute power, expandability and reliability in a single enclosure. Whether it is 8K video editing in Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve, 3D rendering, working through large RAW photo batches or producing hundreds of tracks in Logic Pro – this machine still delivers the performance professional workflows demand.
At its core sits the Intel Xeon W-3245 with 16 cores, 32 threads, a 3.2 GHz base clock and up to 4.4 GHz turbo (4.6 GHz via Turbo Boost Max 3.0). 22 MB of cache, AVX-512 and ECC support keep parallel renders, encodes and simulations running stable and free of memory errors.
Memory is configured at 96 GB of DDR4-2933 ECC, spread across six modules so that all six memory channels are populated and the full memory bandwidth is available. Six of the twelve slots remain free, leaving room to expand to as much as 768 GB later on. The 2 TB Apple SSD reaches up to 3.4 GB/s and is hardware-encrypted by the Apple T2 Security Chip – fast project access and secure data in one.
Graphics are handled by the AMD Radeon Pro 580X MPX Module with 8 GB GDDR5. Via its two HDMI 2.0 outputs and the Thunderbolt 3 ports it drives up to six 4K displays, two 5K plus two 4K displays, or two Apple Pro Display XDR. Because the module only occupies half height, the second MPX bay stays free – room for a second graphics card or an Afterburner card.
Expandability is where this system really stands apart: eight PCIe slots, a 1.4 kW power supply and an enclosure that opens completely without tools. Connectivity includes 4x Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s), 2x USB 3.0 Type-A, 2x 10 Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45), 2x HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5 mm combo jack, plus 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. The stainless steel frame with its signature lattice front lets three large fans cool the machine quietly and efficiently.
On the operating system we are flexible: as a specialist computer company we install any macOS version supported by the Mac Pro 2019 on request – from macOS Monterey through Sonoma and Sequoia up to macOS 26 Tahoe, the final release approved for this model. Software that has to be purchased separately from Apple is excluded. Simply let us know your preference in the order comment.
In Bronze refurbished condition this workstation has been professionally tested, cleaned and technically reconditioned. It is fully functional and shows clearly visible signs of use such as scratches, pressure marks or paint wear on the enclosure, none of which affect operation. That cosmetic condition is exactly what creates the price advantage – the technology behind it meets our usual standard, including a 12-month warranty.
All of which makes the Apple Mac Pro 2019 the right choice for video studios, recording studios, agencies, photographers and developers looking for an expandable macOS workstation with ECC memory and genuine PCIe expansion – at a fraction of the original price.
